Howard City Record, 23 Feb 1911

Dr. J. G. Just, an old time physician of this place died Monday eve., Feb. 20.  
He had been an invalid for the past three years from paralysis.  “Doc” was well 
known in all this part of the county, had practiced in and around Coral for 
nearly 40 years and was always a very successful physician.  His strong point 
in a sick room was his kind and thoughtful nursing.  The deceased leaves a 
widow and four children, two daughters, Mrs. Jennings, of Indiana; Mrs. Alfred 
Holcomb, of this village and two sons, James and Daniel.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a note on the obituary card that he was the son 
of James E. and Ann “Jane” (McClure) Just of Belding.]
