Capt. Allen attended the funeral of Wm. J. Just at Ionia last Saturday, and 
made some remarks in connection with the servies.  The casket in which the 
remains reposed was covered with the old battle flag which was presented to 
Lieut. Just's company more than 40 years ago.

Wm. J. Just, a prominent Grand Army man and a lawyer of Ionia, was found dead 
in bed by the side of his wife last Wednesday mroning.  The cause of his death 
was heart disease, with which he had been troubled for several years.  He was 
formerly commander of the Ionia post.
