Lake Odessa Wave, 3 Jun 1971

Mrs. Minnie Kahler, 77, of Grand Rapids, passed away Friday morning at the 
Greenview Manor following a long illness.  She was born in Campbell Township 
Nov. 21, 1893, daughter of Mary Jane Rosenberger Long.

June 3, 1930, she married Eli A. Kahler of Grand Rapids and they resided in 
Muskegon.  After his death in October, 1932, she returned to Grand Rapids and 
had been a patient at the Manor about three years.  Mrs. Kahler was a self-
employed seamstress.  Her only survivors are cousins.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel.  Rev. 
Marvin Zimmerman officiated, with burial in Clarksville Cemetery.
