WOODLAND - Mrs. Anna Kahler, 82, died Sunday

Mrs. Anna Kahler, 82, died Sunday evening at her home. She had been a resident 
of Woodland for 50 years. When a girl she moved with her parents from Ohio to 
Michigan. She had suffered a broken hip and had been in failing health since. 
Other complications developed which caused her death.

Funeral services were held from the late home Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. 
Harley V. Townsend, officiating. Burial was in the Woodland Memorial park. She 
is survived by one son, Dorr; three brothers, Edmund Blocher at Scottville, 
Samuel at Nashville and John in Woodland; four sisters, Mrs. Ida Flory and Miss 
Clara Blocher in Woodland and Mrs. Minnie Baker and Miss Edith Blocher in 
Hastings.
