Mrs. Fannie Kalb, 74, of Lyons, died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
Russell Miller at Falls Church, Va.  Mrs. Kalb was born September 25, 1884, in 
Germany, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Schultes.  She and her husband, 
John, came to the United States on the same boat, and were married at Ellis 
Island, before entering the United States.  Mr. Kalb preceded her in death 
about ten years ago.  Mrs. Kalb was an aunt of Mrs. Con Dolphin of Ionia.

She was a member of Lyons Methodist church and Evergreen Chapter of OES.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Miller; a son, Dr. John Kalb of Endicott, 
N.Y.; four grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. John Schafer of Fowler.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Lyons Methodist church 
with the Rev. Richard Kidder officiating.  Burial will be in Lyons cemetery.  
The body of Mrs. Kalb will arrive at Shaw-Rivett funeral home in Muir, Tuesday 
night.
