Ionia Daily Sentinel, 24 Jan 1949

Funeral services were held at SS. Peter and Paul church for Joseph P. Kammers, 
jr. Monday morning at 9 o’clock when the Rev. Fr. John S. Fons conducted High 
Mass. Interment was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.  His bearers were Elmer McKendry, 
Elmer Petersen, Paul Harwood, Harold Maro???, Robert Brusge and Wayne Kammers, 
all of Easton.

Attending the services from out-of-town were Mrs. Mathew Laux and Mrs. Gloria 
Laux of Flint; Mr. and Mrs. Linus Sig???d and family of New Lothrup; Mr. and 
Mrs. Linus Willacher of Chesaning; Miss Jessie Shaw of Detroit; and Mr. and 
Mrs. William Dollar and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Engemann of Belding.

Mr. Kammers, 57, of Easton died at his home Thursday after a short illness.
