The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, June 9, 2009

Lois M. Kammers, age 76, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2009.  

She is survived by two daughters, Yvonne Chapman of Lyons and Vicki Goodman of 
Indiana; two grandsons, Ryan Babcock of Ionia and Levi Goodman of Indiana; 
great-granddaughter Kenedi Babcock of Ionia; brother, Jon Wenger of 
California; sister Marcia Emmons of Ionia; two nieces, Heather (Tym) LaBelle 
of Ionia and Lynn (Scott) Sylvester of Kalkaska and great-nephew Alex 
Sylvester of Kalkaska.

She was sadly preceded in death by granddaughter SR Airman Ashton L. M. 
Goodman, killed in service of our country in Afghanistan on May 26, 2009.  
Ashton was very proudly the 3rd generation of women serving in the US Air 
Force starting with Lois.

Cremation has taken place.  No services are being held. memorial contributions 
may be made to her favorite charity—Best Friends Animal Society 
www.bestfriends.org:  5001 Angel Canyon Rd., Kanab, UT 84741.  Arrangement by 
Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
