Sentinel-Std. - Monday, April 4, 1983

IONIA- Mary Ann Kammers, 88, of West Lincoln Avenue, Ionia, died Sunday morning 
in Ionia County Memorial Hospital.

Born in Maple Grove, Mich., Dec. 19, 1894, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
John Laux. She married Joseph Kammers in Maple Grove in 1912.

Shortly after marriage they moved to a farm on Rector Road, Ionia. Her husband 
preceded her in death in January 1949.

She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church.

She is survived by four sons, John of Atlantic Highlands, N.J., Paul of 
Syracuse, N.Y., and Lawrence and Phillip, both of Ionia; 16 grandchildren and 
36 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Linus (Katie) Sigmund of Maple 
Grove.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. from SS. Peter and Paul Church.

Scripture Rosary services will be held at Leddick funeral Home at 8 p.m. 
Tuesday evening.

The family will be at the funeral home Today and Tuesday from 2 to 4  p.m. and 
7 to 9 p.m.

A memorial for SS. Peter and Paul Church has been established in the care of 
the funeral home.
