He leaves a widow, one son, Bert of Ionia, and two daughters, Mrs. Mary Conklin of Ionia and Mrs. Mable Simmond, of Grand Rapids. The funeral services will be held at the Church of Christ Thursday afternoon at two. Rev. C. C. Buckner will officiate and the burial will be in Highland Park cemetery. Subsequent Publication: Friday, April 11, 1919 The funeral for Frank Kanouse was held Thursday afternoon at two o’clock at the Church of Christ. Rev. C. C. Buckner officiated and the music was furnished by Mrs. George Fox and Mrs. C. E. Hathaway, accompanied by Mrs. C. E. Bloomer. The bearers were Geo. Rector, Samuel Kelley, Robert Carpenter, George Pettingill, Nate Winslow and Charles Evans. The G.A.R. and W.R.C. attended in a body and the church was well filled. The flowers were many and very beautiful. The burial was in Highland Park cemetery.
