Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard - Aug. 18, 1960


Service for Mrs. Julia B. Kanouse, 77, of 759 East Main Street, who died Sunday 
evening at County Memorial hospital, was conducted Wednesday, at 2 p.m. at 
Phelps funeral chapel. The Rev. Floyd Emshwiller, pastor of the First Christian 
church officiated and interment was in the family lot at Highland Park cemetery.

Bearers were Keith Patrick, Lee Holland, George Hanline, Clarence Dinehart, 
Leroy Godden and Phillip Teichmann.

Persons attending from out of town were Mrs. Della Swander of Grosse Pointe, 
Mrs. Lela Walters of Lamont, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bigsby of Grand Rapids, Mrs. 
Edward Radtke and sons of Detroit, Mrs. Louise Ditto of Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. 
Gaylord Dreger of Belding, Mrs. Harry Hill, Chesaning, Mr. and Mrs. William 
Possehn of Lake Odessa, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Barr of Muir.
