Ionia Daily Standard, 9 Jun 1898

Miss Della Kanouse, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kanouse, and a young lady
well known in Ionia for her splendid qualities of heart, died this morning at
one o’clock.  She had suffered many months with consumption, and during the last
few days of her illness she failed rapidly, death coming to her quietly and
peacefully.  Funeral services at the Church of Christ on Saturday morning at 10
o’clock.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was
buried in Highland Park Cemetery.]
