JANET KAPP 1931-2017
Janet Carol Kapp, age 86, of Ionia, passed away Sept. 18, 2017, in Lansing. She 
was born March 22, 1931.

Janet worked as a Librarian. She loved to read, knit and cross stitch.

Janet is survived by her children, Fred (Nancy) Kapp of Lansing, George Kapp and
Missy Thompson of Ionia, Patrick Kapp and Narmin Jaffer of Lansing, Annette 
(Steve) Fuller of Ionia, Kelly (Tony) Kapp of Peoria, IL, Roy (Ronda) Kapp of 
Ionia and Margaret Kapp and Ned Berger of Lake Odessa; grandchildren, Casey, 
Quentin, Amber, Shawn, Justin, Alison, Anthony, Katherine, Emma, Roy Aidan, 
Spencer, Mary, Royce and Alex; great-grandchildren, Sophie, Ophelia, Sophia and 
Mason; brother, George Chase of Gowen and two cats, Belle and Charlie.

She was preceded in death by her sister Catherine and niece Diane.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m, Friday, Sept 22, 2017, at Lake Funeral Home in 
Ionia with Pastor Cliff Allen officiating.

Visitation will be Friday 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. 
Interment Easton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Ionia Community 
Library, Safe Haven and Ionia commission on Aging. Online condolences may be
