Ionia Sentinel Standard, 20 Jul 1974

Richard O. Karbowski, 37, of 180 Church, Saranac, died unexpectedly Friday night
at his home.  Born May 11, 1937, in Bay City, he was the son of Otto and Jenny
Karbowski.

Surviving are the wife, the former Elgia Reder; two sons, Mark and David and two
daughters, Lynnette and Nancy; parents; brother, James of Bay City, and sister,
Mrs. Virginia Gibas of Bay City.

Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the Morris-Roetman funeral home at
Saranac.  Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Hyacinth Catholic
church at Bay City.  Rosary will be recited in Bay City Monday at 8 p.m. at the
Ambrose funeral home where the body will be from noon Monday until time of
services.  Visitation at the Morris-Roetman funeral home in Saranac will be
Sunday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
