Ionia Sentinel Standard, 10 Oct 1967

Rev. Marvin Zimmerman will officiate at funeral services for Mrs. Marion 
Karcher, 58, Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Pickens funeral chapel in Lake Odessa.  
Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery.  Mrs. Karcher of route two, Lake Odessa 
died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday in Pennock hospital in Hastings after a lengthy 
illness.

She was born August 26, 1909 in Sebewa township, the daughter of George and 
Elizabeth Smith Coe and a lifelong resident of Lake Odessa area.  November 24, 
1934 she was married to Rex Karcher and they have lived at their present 
address all their married life.

She was a member of Central Methodist church and adult fellowship of the church 
and the 3X4 club.

Surviving are her husband Rex; a daughter, Mrs. John Jackson of Lake Odessa, 
and one granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Mark Westbrook of Ionia.
