The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, May 30, 2000


Glenna Pearl Karman, 85, of Ionia, passed away May 28, 2000.  She was born 
October 15, 1915 in Berlin Township, the daughter of Glen and Pearl (Coe) 
Sible.  She went on to marry Jerry Karman on June 16, 1947 and he survives her 
in Ionia.

Also surviving are her daughter, Bonnie Kay Harrington of Ionia; grandchildren, 
Ken Harrington of Ark., Kimberly Graveson of Grandville, Kelly Morgan of 
Lowell; Kammie Schmieding of Belding, Kendra Livesay of Kentucky; seven great 
grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services for Mrs. Karman will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the 
Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.  Interment in Balcom Cemetery.  Visitation will be 
today from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Anyone wishing may make 
memorial contributions to the Ionia County Commission on Aging or the American 
Cancer Society.
