Gerald David Karman, age 78, of Ionia passed away Wednesday July 23, 2003 in 
Ionia.  He was born February 4, 1925 in Grand Rapids, the son of Peter and 
Marie Karman.  He was preceded in death by his wife Glenna May 28, 2000.

He is survived by his daughter Bonnie Harrington of Tennessee; five 
grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many cousins.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia 
with Rev. Kenneth Harger of Shiloh Community Church officiating.  The family 
will receive friends and family Sunday 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral 
home.  Anyone wishing may make a memorial contribution to the American Cancer 
Society.
