Hasting's Reminder - Sat. November 15, 2025

PAUL KARRAR passed away on November 10, 2025 surrounded by family and friends.He 
was born to Vernon and Helen Karrar on July 28, 1938. Paul married the love of 
his life, Ann Marie (Tisher) on March 28, 1958.

He is survived by his wife and children, Pam, Bryan(Kathy) and Dennis; 
grandchildren, Josh, Anthony and Stephanie and great grandchildren; his 
brothers, Richard (Lorna), Steve (Sherry); brother-in-law, Corwin (Kay) Tischer 
and many nieces & nephews.
 Paul worked for Bergy Brothers in Alto, Lake Odessa Co-op & Caledonia farmers 
elevators for many years. He was a skilled millwright, mechanic & welder. He 
loved motorcycling, fishing, vintage cars/trucks, welding, and making hog 
roasters & fire pits.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon & Helen (Slocum) Karrar & in-
laws, Gerald & Fern Tischer; sister, Sharon; sisters-in-law, Janet (Joe) Okrei & 
Linda (Arnold) Erb; nephews, Scott Karrar & Jared Tischer.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan.17, 2026 at the Lake Odessa 
Grace Brethren Church. Visitation;10 a.m. service 11 a.m. with a luncheon to 
follow in the church basement.

Paul was a life-long member of the Lake Odessa Grace Brethren Church.
