Ionia County News - Thursday, Dec. 11, 1930

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon for Mrs. Arthur Karrar, 44, who 
died last Wednesday morning at her home near Clarksville after a long illness 
of nearly a year. Burial was in the Clarksville cemetery.

Besides her husband she leaves four children, Vernon, 18, Margaret 16, Lyle 14, 
and Irene 11 years, also an aged mother, Mrs. William Brooks, and four sisters, 
Mrs. Mary Thompson, of Hastings, Mrs. Clara Fauley, of Clarksville, Mrs. 
Katherine Torrey, and Mrs. Cary Studt, of Lake Odessa, and five brothers, 
Charles Brooks, of Hopkins, John Brooks of near Lansing, and Frank, Fred and 
Dewey Brooks of Lake Odessa.
