Willis Allen Kasdorf, age 84, of Muir, passed away Nov. 1, 2015, in Muir.  He
was born Oct. 15, 1931, in Sturgis, Michigan, the son of Milton and Jennette
(Frohriep) Kasdorf.  Willis married Carolyn Kimball Nov. 8, 1958, in Muir.

He was a member of Lyons VFW, Ionia American Legion, and Lyons-Muir Church.  He
loved to hunt, fish and be with his family.  Willis served in the U.S. Army and
was stationed in Korea.  Upon returning from Korea, Willis worked at Hass Corp.
in Mendon and 30-plus years at General Motors Lansing in the Security Department.

Willis is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carolyn Kasdorf of Muir;
children, Timothy (Marla) Kasdorf of Oregon, Annette (John) Jacobsen of Ionia,
Thomas (Deborah) Kasdorf of Hubbardston, Linda (Jim) Hill of Ionia and Katherine
(Duane) Carter of Breckenridge; brother, Carlton (Patricia) Kasdorf of
Plainwell; sister, Selma Comstock of Mendon; brother-in-law, Donald Kimball of
Arizona; 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two
great-great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother,
Ivan.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, at Lyons Muir
Church with Pastor Bert Nelson officiating.  Visitation being held one hour
prior to service.  Interment at Lyons Cemetery.  Arrangements by Lake Funeral
Home of Muir.  Memorial contributions may be made to Ionia Food Pantry or Lyons
Muir Church.
