Elizabeth “Betty” (Roundtree) Kassel passed away July 15, 2008 unexpectedly at 
her home in St. Louis, Mo.

She was born Jan. 28, 1934 in St. Louis, Mo., to Theresa and Leo Ziegler.

Betty is survived by her husband Glenn Kassel of St. Louis, Mo.; daughter Mary 
K. Towersey of Michigan; grandson John Buchanan of St. Louis, Mo.; 
granddaughter Dawn Beaudoin of Michigan and two great-granddaughters Elizabeth 
and Taylor, both of Michigan. Betty resided in Ionia from 1973 -1983, then 
returned to St. Louis, Mo., to care for her parent who preceded her in death 
along with her stepson Rob Kassel, who passed away Jan. 15, 2007. She will be 
greatly missed by family and friends.
