Amy L. Kauffman, 97, of Clarksville, died Tuesday, February 9 at the 
Provincial House in Hastings.  She was born February 25, 1890, in Santa Ana, 
California, the daughter of Julius and Ailda (Gilbert) Kauffman.  She attended 
schools in Santa Ana and Los Angeles, and was married to John H. Kauffman May 
18, 1914, in Santa Ana.  He preceded her in death in 1960.

They moved to Clarksville in 1916, and purchased a garage in Clarksville in 
1918.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews, also several grand-nieces and 
nephews.  One sister, Stella, and one brother, Lloyd, also preceded her in 
death.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Koops Funeral Chapel in 
Clarksville.  Burial will follow in the Clarksville Cemetery.  Friends may 
meet the family Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at the funeral chapel.
