The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, September 26, 1932
Mrs. Isabelle Kauffman, of West Sebewa, wife of Charles Kauffman, died 
suddenly Saturday, September 24, of apoplexy.  She had not been ill at all and 
was doing her housework when stricken.  Her funeral will be held at the home 
Tuesday afternoon at 1 o’clock.  She was about 60 years old and leaves besides 
her husband three daughters, Mrs. Alice Archer, Mrs. Myrtle Bartlett, and Mrs. 
Thelma Pew, four grandchildren and two brothers, Charles and Ben Koutz.
