Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard - Feb. 2, 1944


A family prayer service was held at 8:30 O’clock Wednesday morning for Thomas 
M. Kawalski, 61 212 Webber Street, and was followed by Requiem Mass sung by 
Rev. Fr. John S. Fons at 9:15 O’clock at SS Peter and Paul church. Burial was 
in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Thomas Duffy, Michael Feeney, Amil Slowinski, Frank Gazella, 
Patrick Gazella and Robert Gazella.

Attending services from away were Mrs. Virginia Ross and Mrs. Grover Chapin of 
Detroit, Mrs. J.P.Conroy of Clare, Ill, and Pvt. Hugh O’Donnell of Fort Brag, 
N.C.
