McCormick saying requiem high mass, after which he preached a sermon from these words “It is appointed unto man once to die, after that the judgment.” Kathryn Shiels sang “Face to Face”. The pallbearers, all cousins, were Thomas McCarthy, Owen and James Burns, Wm. Rogers, James O’Connor and John Eisler. The floral tributes were many and beautiful. She was laid to rest in the family lot in St. John’s cemetery beside her father who preceded her June 8, 1916. She leaves to mourn their loss her mother and sister, Katie, and a host of friends.
