The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, December 11, 1967
Mrs. Annie R. Keech, 89, of route three Ionia died Saturday evening at the 
home of her daughter, Mrs. Elsie Bangs.  She was born July 11, 1878 in Allegan 
county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Herring.  Before moving to Ionia 
two years ago she resided in Orleans area 26 years where she had come from 
Lowell.

She is survived by one son, Herbert Weld of Lowell; three daughters, Mrs. 
Jennie Heath, Mrs. Elsie Banks of Sheridan and Mrs. Alice Harrison, route 3, 
Ionia; one stepson, William Keech of Lowell; preceding her in death was a son, 
George Thompson in 1945; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Stebbins funeral home in 
Sheridan with interment in Alton cemetery near Lowell.  Rev. Kenneth Harger 
will officiate.

Transcriber’s note:  The daughter’s name was spelled “Bangs” and “Banks” in 
this publication.
