Ionia County News, 24 Oct 1957

Mrs. C. Elida Keefer, 84, widow of S. Wilson Keefer, Orange Township Supervisor
for many years, passed away Sunday, October 13, at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Charles Dunsmore, in South Bend, Indiana.  She was born September 6, 1873
at Altona, Michigan, the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. William Judd, pastor at one
time at the Lyons Methodist Church.  Mrs. Keefer was a member of the Lyons
Methodist Church and the Lyons Eastern Star.

One son, Dr. Judd Keefer, of Flint, died in 1946.  She is survived by her one
daughter, Mrs. Charles Dunsmore, one son, Victor R. Keefer, of RFD 1, Lyons, and
four grand children and one great grand child.  One sister, Mrs. Eva Lovely, of
Howard City.

Funeral service was held Wednesday, October 16, at the Stone-Kauffman Funeral
Home Rev. Richard Kidder, of Lyons Methodist Church officiating.  Burial was in
Keefer Cemetery.
