Services Held for Bessie Keeler, 52
Mrs. Bessie Keeler, 52. passed away Sunday morning at Blodgett Memorial 
Hospital,Grand Rapids. she had been hospitalized for 16 days following an 
extended illness.

She was born May 8, 1921 at Verda,Ky., daughter of Elijah and Melviney (Absher) 
McMillian and had attended the Verda, Ky. school.

November 17, 1945 she marred John R.Keeler at Harlan, Ky. and they moved to Lake 
Odessa in 1950.

Surviving are her husband; three sisters, Mrs.Ruby Powers of Verda,Ky., 
Mrs.Ketchie McGlameary of Lowell and Mrs. Minnie Miller of Lake Odessa; four 
brothers Roy McMillian of Evan City, Penn., Worley of Toledo Ohio, Guy of 
Chevrolet Ky., and Clyde of Lake Odessa, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1:30 at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel 
Lake Odessa. Rev. Howard Vugteveen officiated with burial in Lakeside cemetery.
