Excerpts from Obituary:
LAWRENCE JAMES KEIFFER, of Carson City
Died Sunday May 7, 2017-age 77 at Carson City.
Larry was born Nov. 29, 1939 in North Shade, Twp., Gratiot County, the son of 
Clayton and Rose (Feuerstein) Keiffer.
He graduated from St. Mary's Academy as salutatorian, class of 1957.
Married Dolores Schneider on July 18, 1959, at St. Joseph Catholic church in 
Pewamo.
Lifelong farmer & retired from the Carson City-Crystal Schools.
Was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Carson City and the Knights of 
Columbus.
Survived by his wife, Dolores, six children, thirteen grandchildren, nine great-
grandchildren, brother, sister, & many nieces & nephews.
Mass of Christian burial was held May 10 at St. Mary Catholic church in Carson 
City. Interment will be in Maryknoll cemetery.
