Ionia Sentinel Standard, 10 Apr 1944

Funeral services for Walter Keim, 53, for many years a resident of Campbell
township were held Saturday with a prayer services at 12:30 o’clock at the home
of his sister, Mrs. Charles Schwab, 409 Lafayette street, and funeral services
at 2 o’clock at the Bowne Mennonite church in Kent county.

Officiating was Rev. Gordon Truesdell of Owosso and Rev. Tobias Schrock, pastor
of Bowne Mennonite church.  Music was in charge of Mr. and Mrs. Orville
Deardorff, Mrs. Kenneth Stahl and Steven Weaver.  Pallbearers were Elmer Miller,
Roy Stahl, Lewis Hefflebower, William Lott, Emery Keim and Ora Miller.

Attending services from away were Mr. and Mrs. John Schwab of Rockford and Jacob
Konkle of Hastings.
