After a full and fruitful life, Barbara R. Keister, 73, passed away suddenly 
but peacefully at the Central Community Hospital on Friday, Sept. 21, 2001.  
Barbara resided in the communities of Ionia, Jackson and Weidman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; her parents, Lawrence and Ruth 
Robinson; her younger sister, Sarah (Sally), and a son-in-law, Mark Davison.  
Barbara is survived by her sister, Joan Fate of Mecosta; a brother Jeff (Judy) 
Robinson of Remus; and her children, Katherine R. Davison of East Grand Rapids, 
Fred D. (Sarah) Keister of Portage, Lawrence B. (Cheryl) Keister of Warren D. 
(Gail) Keister of Gaylord; her 13 beloved grandchildren; two great 
grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001 at 1 p.m. at the 
United Methodist Church of Weidman with Rev. Craig Adams officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Weidman United Methodist Church Building Fund or 
the Weidman Friends of the Library.  Envelopes are available at the Helms 
Funeral Home.
