She was born in Ionia, April 29, 1884, the daughter of Charles and Mary Zander Lemke. November 6, 1902 she was married in Ionia to August Nimz who died in 1944. September 30, 1946 she was married in Saginaw to Bert Kelby, who died in 1966. She was a resident of Ionia until moving to Saginaw in 1932. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Wesley Peabody of Ionia; seven grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; two brothers, Herman C. Lemke of Ionia and Richard Lemke of South Haven; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Nimz of Ionia and Mrs. Lena Parker of St. Petersburg, Fla. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Stone-Kauffman funeral home with Rev. Chester J. Erickson of Evangelical church officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park cemetery. ------------ Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Kelby of Saginaw who died Wednesday were Saturday with Rev. Chester Erickson officiating. Interment was in Highland Park cemetery. Bearers were Robert Peabody, Kenneth Ray, Roger Preston and Delbert Lemke. Attending from out of town were Brenda Peabody of Lansing, Mrs. Jerry Cook of Saranac, Mr. and Mrs. James Thorpe of Greenville, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lemke of South Haven, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lemke and Mr. and Mrs. Karl Zander all of Grand Rapids and Paul Carlton of Saginaw.
