Samuel M. Keller, 73, died at his home 472 Harter street, Thursday about 4:50
a.m., where he has been confined for the past 3 weeks.  He was born in Ionia
county Oct. 29, 1875, the son of Menno and Mary A. Keller.  He was married to
Libbie Snell of Easton township on March 25, 1908.  They lived on a farm in
Easton township for 10 years, in Jackson for five years and returned to Ionia in
1924.  She died in 1941.

In 1943, he was married to Minnie Snyder of Greenville, who survives him.  He is
also survived by one son, Hixson of Jackson; and one sister, Mrs. Ben Alderink
of Alto.

Keller attended the First Methodist church where he had been custodian for the
past several years.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Boynton funeral home with
Dr. Howard A. Smith officiating.  Interment will be in the family lot in Easton
cemetery.
