He was born February 6, 1912 in Easton Township, Michigan and moved to Winter Haven from Flint, Michigan in 1971. Mr. Keller was co-owner of Top Hat Auto Wash, Inc. and House of Clean in Winter Haven. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church; the Board of the Boy’s Farm, lifetime member of the Military Officers Association; Flint Power Squadron; Flint Chamber of Commerce; American Society of Mechanical Engineers; Past President and member of the Car Wash International Association; Michigan State Alumni, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He entered the U.S. Army from ROTC as a 2nd Lt. He served during WWII as a 1st Lt. receiving two Bronze Battle Stars. He served in the Rhineland and Central Europe, foreign service for seven months and 17 days. His continental service lasted for three years and three months. Mr. Keller is survived by his wife of 64 years, Gladys Keller.
