The funeral services will be held from SS. Peter and Paul’s church Saturday morning. Mr. Kelley was born in Ada 68 years ago, but spent his boyhood in Ionia, and when a youth started working for the Pere Marquette Railroad company, and spent several of the latter years of his residence here as a conductor for the Pere Marquette Railway company. In the late eighties he went to Indiana to live, and while employed on the railroad lost one of his legs. This kept him from the railroad, and he took up the sale of life insurance. He has been afflicted with the disease which claimed him as a victim for nearly 18 years. Mrs. Kelley died several years ago. He leaves a son, Charles Kelley, of Chicago; three brothers, Edward of Grand Rapids; William of McVeigh, Inc., and Dan of Grand Rapids, And a sister, Mrs. Myra Zant of Battle Creek and a niece, Miss Myra Zant one of the teachers in the Durant schools.
