Kelley, known at Tot Kelley, 76, of 304 Bridge, Lyons, died at his home early Thursday morning following an extended illness. Born in Lyons October 15, 1896, he was the son of Hugh and Louella Canty Kelley. He was a graduate of Lyons high school and attended Ferris Institute. He served with the army medical corps in World War I and returned to Lyons to operate a grocery store until retiring in 1955. He served as Lyons village president from 1932 to 1943, was a life member of Lyons lodge F&AM and member of Girrard-Horrocks post of American Legion. He was married September 19, 1934 to Leone Allen and she survives as does a sister, Mrs. Helen Carter of Elsie. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hull Memorial chapel in Muir. Rev. Richard Strait of Lyons United Methodist church will officiate and interment will be at Lyons cemetery.
