Ionia County News, 17 Sep 1936

Lewis Kelley was born 75 years ago at Hastings, Mich., and died September 13, at
his home here, after a long illness.  When he was four years old his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. William Kelley, moved to Saranac.  He leaves his wife, Jessie; two
sons, Dwight, of Chicago, Ill, and Ford of Saranac; two grandchildren; three
daughters, Mrs. Lottie Wellington, of Saranac; Mrs. Elmer Ely, of Indianapolis,
Ind., and Mrs. Hattie Frace, of Ironwood, Mich.; two brothers, Charles, of Gulf
Port, Miss., and Dennis, of Marshall, Mich.

The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock at the home.  Burial in
the Saranac cemetery.  Rev. E.H. Humphrey, of Lake Odessa, officiated.
