Kelley, age 69, brother of Samuel Kelley, died at his home at Prairie Creek, Thursday afternoon, at 3 o’clock. Deceased leaves two children, Mrs. Josephine Sangbush of Kalidon, Ohio, and Jos. Kelley of Iron River, Michigan. He was a veteran of the civil war, and a member of Wm. H. Borden post of the G.A.R. Funeral on Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The funeral of James Kelley, at the house at Prairie Creek, Sunday, was largely attended. Wm. H. Borden post attended in a body of 30 or more; the W.R.C. to the umber of about 15, and 12 mail carriers, rural and city. The bearers were: J. B. Snyder, John Roberts, Robt. Carpenter, Jacob Bessey, Ed Shattuck, and Alonzo Willard, with J. H. Laden as officer of the day. The funeral of James W. Kelley, the old veteran soldier, was held at the family home at Prairie Creek, at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon. Service by Rev. Dr. Cogshall. Interment at Highland Park. Soldierly honors by Wm. H.
