Kelley, aged 75 years, a long time, and well known resident of this city and a veteran of the Spanish-American war, who died at his home 217 Vincent street, late Tuesday night of last week. Mr. Kelly had resided in this city for many years and many of the lines of the present sewage system of the city were laid under his supervision. He had also been employed in local factories but for some years had been retired. Surviving are the widow, Molissie; two daughters, Mrs. George Everhart of this city and Mrs. Don Harris of Eaton Rapids; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Officiating at the funeral services was Rev. H. S. Ellis, with pallbearers all being Spanish-American war veterans: William Thatcher and George Joslin of this city; A.L. Snyder, Henry Larsen, Alec Robinson and Henry Miller, of Ionia. Burial was in River Ridge cemetery.
