Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 18 Dec 1961

The body of Mrs. Mabel Kelley, 78, who died Friday morning in St. Petersburg,
Fla., will arrive Tuesday by train and will repose at her home on Railroad
street, Muir.  She lived most of her life in Muir and had gone to Florida for
the winter.  She was married in 1911 to Mike Kelley who died in 1952.  Mrs.
Kelley was active in civic and social work in Muir when her health permitted.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Helen Krueger and a grandson, John, of Milwaukee,
Wis.; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Gardner of Lansing, and a brother, William Sittle of
Flint.

Rosary will be recited at 7:30 Wednesday evening and funeral Mass will be sung
at 9 o’clock Thursday morning at SS. Peter and Paul church.  Burial will be at
Oakwood cemetery in Muir.  Funeral arrangements were made by Estep funeral home,
Muir.  Bearers will be Ronald Burrows, Robert Cloud, Charles Kelley, Lambert
Struble, James Struble and Charles Quigley.
