Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 18 Apr 1977

Mrs. Minnie H. Kelley, 86, of 838 West Washington died early Monday morning at
Sparrow hospital in Lansing where she had been a patient for the past week.  She
was born in Ionia December 5, 1890, the daughter of Herman and Minnie Bush Jahnke.

She married Frank Kelley October 21, 1911 in Windsor, Ontario and they have made
their home in Ionia since then.  He preceded her in death in 1954.  One son,
Charles and a daughter, Mrs. Frances Burrows also preceded her in death.  

Mrs. Kelley was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic church and the Daughters
of Isabella.

Survivors include one son, Richard of Ionia; one brother, William Jahnke of
Lansing and two sisters, Mrs. Ann Ceronsky of Lansing and Mrs. Clarence (Edith)
Mead of Owosso; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services are Thursday at 10 a.m. from SS Peter and Paul church with Rev. Edward
S. Orlowski officiating.  Burial is in Mt. Olivet cemetery.  Parish rosary will
be recited Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Leddick funeral home.  The family will
receive friends and relatives at the funeral home Tuesday and Wednesday 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m.
