Isabella County Enterprise – Friday, 19 December 1913
Following an illness of several weeks, death came to the relief of Mrs. 
Harding Kellogg on Wednesday afternoon at the home on Cherry Street.  For 
several days previous to the end Mrs. Kellogg suffered intensely, her ailment 
being classed as gallstones.

Eliza Connor-Kellogg was born in Brant County Ontario, March 13, 1843.  She 
has lived in Michigan since the age of ten years when her parents came to 
Ionia County.  June 21, 1867, she married Harding Kellogg and they came to 
Lincoln Township in 1879, where they lived on a fine farm until about five 
years ago, when they came to the city and bought a pretty little home on 
Cherry Street.  Of our children born to Mr. and Mrs. Kellogg two are living; 
Chester A. of this place and Lee of Mecosta county.

Rev. C. T. Jack will conduct the last rites at the home this afternoon and 
Saturday morning the family will accompany the remains to Ionia for burial.
