Kellogg were attended Wednesday with prayer at the home at 2 o’clock and services at the Palo Methodist church at 2:30, of which he was a member. Rev. Floyd Drake of Grand Rapids officiated, assisted by Rev. C. E. Davis of Palo. The Palo Blue lodge attended in a body and Bert Fox conducted the Masonic burial service at the grave. Bearers were Claude Dickerson, Carl Wingieir, Arthur Babcock, Ralph Safford, Jesse Kendall and Burton Partridge. Those from away attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kellogg of Hyattsville, Md.; Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Carlton and Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Raymond of Galesburg; Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Davis of Rochester; Miss Eleanor Cheney of Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. John Whitmore of Shepherd; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reasoner of Clarksville; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Cheney of Ionia and Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Blake of Galesburg. Burial was in Palo cemetery. Mr. Kellogg was 65 years of age and he lived all his life on the farm where he was born.
