                                 Died at Fenwick

Dr.Carrie S. Kellogg, aged 80 years and wife of W.K. Kellogg, founder of the 
famous food company bearing his name at Battle Creek and noted as a public 
philanthropist, died at the home of a niece, Mrs.William Rutherford, at Fenwick, 
on Monday morning. Dr.Kellogg was the former Carrie Staines and was born in the 
vicinity where she passed away. With her husband she lived at Battle Creek for 
many years but two years ago, due to age and ill health she came to reside with 
her niece. Her aged husband, W.K.Kellogg, is still alive and is reported to e 
convalescing in a hospital in California. Funeral services for Dr.Kellogg were 
held Wednesday afternoon at Sheridan and burial was in Bushnell Township 
cemetery.
