The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, September 28, 1925

Mrs. Mary Kelly, widow of the late Charles Kelley, died at the home in Muir 
Saturday morning, aged 69 years, five months and 17 days.  She was born at 
Troy, N.Y., but had lived at Muir since she was 16 years of age.  This closes 
another life which has been eminently useful and full of good deeds.  There 
are six children James and Michael, of Muir, Charles, who lives on the Pacific 
coast, Frank, of Ionia, Kate, wife of Clyde Kistler, of Muir, and Ellen, wife 
of Russell, Quigley, of Muskegon.  There are also 10 grandchildren.

The funeral will take place Wednesday morning at 9 o’clock with services at 
the Catholic church in Ionia, and burial will be made in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
