Alvin Kelly, 86, of 4926 East Peck Lake Road, Portland, died at his home 
Friday.  He was born May 14, 1902, in Portland, the son of George and Pauline 
Strieble Kelly.  He was a retired farmer.

He was a member of Portland United Methodist Church and Portland Civic Players.

Surviving are his wife Catherine; and two daughters, Cathy Blankenburg of 
Litchfield and Mrs. Larry (Nancy) Pryer of Portland, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. from the Neller Funeral Home, 
Portland, with the Rev. Stanley Finbeiner officiating.  Burial will be in Danby 
Cemetery, with Robert Scheurer, Perry Lawless, Donald Shattuck, Gerald Wilson, 
Donald Barker and Michael Myers serving as pallbearers.
