Ionia Sentinel Standard, 7 Jun 1968

A lifelong Portland area resident Harry L. Kelly, 79, of route 3 died Thursday
at his home.  Before retirement he worked 17 years at Michigan State university,
East Lansing.  He leaves his wife Lula; and a brother M. Lee Kelly of Six Lakes.

A member of the Danby township board, he was also a member of the grange,
Portland Methodist church, Portland chapter 31 F&AM and Portland chapter, R&AM
and Okemos Eastern Star.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Neller funeral home in Portland
with Rev. Raymond Norton officiating.  Burial will be in Danby cemetery. 
Bearers will be Louis Ingalls, Charles Kelly, Louis Kelly, Patrick Hunter,
Richard Green, Louis Hamilton.
