JANICE RAE KELLY, 81
Janice Rae Kelly, 81, of Saranac, passed away March 12, 2018, in Lowell.

She was born May 15, 1936, in Keene Township, the daughter of Theron and Iva
(Rickert) Cahoon. Janice married Robert (Jim) Kelly June 20, 1953.

He preceded her in death 2015.

She was the former owner of Kelly Photography and Saraanac. Janice also worked at 
Saranac Public Schools for many years. She was an active member of Galilee Baptist 
Church in Saranac. She loved her family, gardening and fish ponds.

Janice is survived by her sons, Brian (Beth) Kelly of Saranac and Patrick Kelly of 
Hudsonville; brother, Rex (Jane) Cahoon of Colorado; grandchildren, Michael (Rachel)
Kelly of Houston, Missouri and Erin (Alan) Buckowing of Middleville and
great-grandchildren, Aiden, Tyler and Keira Kelly and Rowan Buckowing.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Michael in 1979, sisters; Connie Wood
and Noreen Sloan and her brother, Richard Cahoon.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 15, at Galilee Baptist Church
with Pastor Andy Mooren officiating. Interment Saranac Cemetery. Visitation will be
Wednesday 4-7 p.m. at  lake Funeral Home in Saranac. Memorial contributions may be made to 
American diabetes Association or Washington University Neurofibromatosis Research.
