Kelly, 549 Lafayette street, will arrive in Hoboken, September 16 from France, has been received by his parents here. The body will be brought directly to Ionia from the Atlantic coast and arrangements will probably be made to conduct a military funeral for him. It is stated that Kelley is the first resident of the city of Ionia who fell in action overseas, to be returned to this city for burial. It is likely that his former comrades and members of the John F. Girard Post will pay honors to him at the funeral. Members of the G.A.R. may also participate, the father being a civil war veteran and a member of the local G.A.R. Post for years.
