The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, July 6, 1965
Irene L. Kelly, retired practical nurse who resided at 515 East Lafayette 
street, died unexpectedly Sunday morning en route from home to attend Mass at 
SS. Peter and Paul church.  Coroner Richard Hull said death was due to a heart 
attack. 

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel P. Kelly and is survived by two 
sisters, Mrs. Nora Armstrong of Grand Rapids and Ann Kelly of Ionia.

Rosary will be recited at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday at Myers funeral home with funeral 
Mass at 9 a.m. Wednesday at SS. Peter and Paul church.  Burial be at Mt. 
Olivet cemetery.

Requiem High Mass was celebrated at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church 
Wednesday morning for Irene L. Kelly of 515 Lafayette street who died Sunday 
morning.  Mass was sung by the Rev. Fr. Donald Lomasiewicz and interment was 
at Mt. Olivet cemetery.  Bearers were Martin McNamara, Leo McAlary, Joseph 
Hogan and James Shoen.
