Ionia County News - Thursday, Nov. 10, 1938

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock for Henry 
Kelly, retired farmer in Orleans township, at he farm home about one-half 
mile west of Orleans. Rev. Frank Loomis had charge of the services and 
interment was in the Orleans cemetery. Mr. Kelly was born in Orleans 
township 69 years ago, and had lived in this vicinity all of his life, with 
the exception of several years in Belding, where he lived at 804 S. Bridge 
street, in a home which he remodeled and built for himself and family. 

Mr. Kelly was a kindly dispositioned man, friendly and unobtrusive, and was 
held in high esteem by all who  knew him, and the neighborhood regrets his 
passing and extends sympathy to his family in their loss of a kind husband 
and father. Survivors are the widow, one son, Edward, who works the farm, 
one daughter, Ruthel, wo works in the State Savings Bank in Belding.
